B to B Solution — Offices, shops, commercial buildings — Île-de-France & France

Solar window film for businesses

Thermal comfort, UV protection for your storefronts and equipment, and a lever recognised by the French government to reduce energy consumption in commercial buildings — with no major works or business interruption.

Comfort

Less heat in open-plan offices and storefronts

Large glazed surfaces (offices, shops, conservatories) are the first to suffer from overheating. Solar film reduces heat gain without darkening work or retail spaces.

Protection

Storefronts and goods protected from UV

Up to 99% of UV blocked depending on the film chosen: less fading for products on display, furniture and finishes.

Energy efficiency

A recognised lever for commercial buildings

For buildings over 1,000 m², solar protection for glazing is among the actions listed by the Ministry of Ecological Transition. Details and official sources (French).

Commercial energy decree

What the French regulation says, in brief

The "Éco Énergie Tertiaire" scheme requires commercial buildings over 1,000 m² to progressively reduce their final energy consumption: -40% by 2030, -50% by 2040, -60% by 2050, compared to 2010. The Ministry of Ecological Transition lists solar protection for glazing among the recognised levers for improving a building's envelope, alongside insulation and joinery.

Its main advantage: unlike insulation or window replacement, installing solar film requires no major works and no business interruption — a quick first lever to activate. It's usually part of a broader approach combining several actions rather than acting alone, and we help you identify its right place in your strategy.

The films we install comply with current European standards: EN 410 (determination of light and solar characteristics of glazing, useful for thermal studies and specifications) for the entire solar range, and EN 12600 (pendulum impact resistance) for our anti-shatter security film. Films supplied by a French supplier (head office in Île-de-France), installed by local installers based in Paris.

Frequently asked questions

Before requesting a quote

Is solar film part of the recognised solutions for the commercial energy decree?

Yes: it's an immediately actionable lever, with no major works or business interruption, cited by the Ministry of Ecological Transition. In most cases it's part of a broader strategy (insulation, equipment, etc.) rather than acting alone — we help you pinpoint its actual contribution, without selling you a miracle solution we couldn't deliver on.

Does the business need to close during installation?

No: installation is done pane by pane, usually outside peak hours if needed, without closing the site.

Do you cover multiple sites or areas outside Île-de-France?

Yes, we usually cover all of Île-de-France and can travel anywhere in France depending on the size of the project.

How do I get a quote for my building?

Through the same quote form as for residential customers: mention the building type and the surface area concerned in your message.
